Following the release of FBE’s publication, Reports on Regions – Asia Pacific, FBE gathered nearly 100 participants to dive into key insight from the report at a webinar titled, Asia-Pacific policy landscape on flow batteries. Insights and the way forward.
This is the first of the Flow Batteries Europe Reports on Regions series, looking into the flow battery industry and policies around the globe. The Asia-Pacific Report was developed in collaboration with the China National Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), VSUN Energy, and Sumitomo Electric.
At the webinar, key findings from the analysis of Asia-Pacific policies were presented along with insights from distinguished experts representing three countries: China, Japan, and Australia.
Speakers included Dr. Changkun Zhang (CNESA), Zamien Sumich (VSUN Energy), Arata Doi (Sumitomo), , Beata Virsumirska (FBE) & Daniela Pöhl (FBE).
The discussions looked at the remarkable strides in Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) in the Asia-Pacific region which is supported by robust policy frameworks and ambitious targets. Consequently, Europe must refine its approach to prevent lagging behind.
