On Monday 26 June 2023, in conjunction with the International Flow Battery Forum, Flow Batteries Europe will have a pre-conference workshop on the Battery Passport and Standardisation which are two important issues impacting the flow battery industry.

The first seminar will provide information on the Battery Passport and its impact on all manufacturers of flow batteries, flow battery components and suppliers. The information in the Battery Passport will be a pre-requisite for all energy storage developers, as it allows for comparisons of the whole life cost and environmental impact between battery energy storage types.

During the second seminar, speakers will focus on a review of the current status of international standardisation processes relevant to energy storage in general and flow batteries in particular. We will cover proposals for future standardisation work covering electrolytes, manufacturing, measurement of performance and comparisons with other battery types.

This workshop takes place the day before the IFBF and a separate registration is required.
