Net-Zero Industry Act: a letter to Ambassadors of EU Member States

04 October 2023:

On 6^th October, Ambassadors of EU Member States will meet in COREPER I, giving them the opportunity to give much-needed political guidance on the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA).

FBE is proud to share a letter along with other members of a clean tech coalition, addressed to Ambassadors and urging them to:

[1] Ensure that the NZIA focuses on recognised strategic clean technology industries, to encourage strong investment in the strategic clean technologies key to our transition to net-zero.

[2] Link the NZIA to a coherent and existing framework supporting the EU’s energy and climate goals.

Our coalition is optimistic that these key recommendations will be considered while preparing for the meeting of COREPER I.
