21 November 2025: Yesterday, Flow Batteries Europe hosted a webinar on the key role that flow batteries can play in accelerating the deplyment of data centres and tackle major challenges such as AI-induced power volatility. Speakers presented to more than 200 participants their insights on how flow batteries are already shaping the future of safer, more easily deployable, and longer-lived cost-competitive data centres.

 โ€ข Shared insights on how AI is shifting eergy from an off-site to a on-site challenge for data centres, and how flow batteries, being non-flammable and factory-built, enable energy production and storage directly within or close to the data centre.

โ€ข Stressed that flow batteries can turn intermittent renewable energy like solar PV into reliable base load for data centres, and that their modular, containerized deisgn allows rapid deployment, easy scaability, and flexible siting, while also ensuring long lifetimes and high cycle durability, and predictable performance.
