The International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF®) is the leading event for the flow battery community. The IFBF promotes the most recent developments in the science, technology and commercialisation of flow batteries. Our conferences cover a broad range of interests in the research and commercial aspects of flow batteries. Since 2010 the IFBF has held eleven in-person conferences attracting more than 200 attendees each year.
In June 2024 the IFBF held its thirteenth in-person conference in Scotland, supported by Invinity Energy Systems and Flow Batteries Europe. Over three days the conference featured talks, panel sessions, open discussions, networking breaks, a poster session, conference dinner and a local site visit. We discussed the latest innovations, policy updates and market challenges for the development of the flow battery sector. Over 300 business leaders, policymakers, developers, and researchers shared information and forecasts about the thriving world of energy storage and the important role of flow batteries.
The next edition of the International Flow Battery Forum will take place from 24 to 26 June in Vienna, Austria, at the Intercontinental Hotel, supported by CellCube and Flow Batteries Europe!
