As the global push for clean energy accelerates, efforts to integrate energy storage vary significantly across regions. Flow Batteries Europe has investigated the global landscape in its upcoming publication, Reports on Regions – Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on energy storage policies and flow batteries.

This is the first of the Flow Batteries Europe Reports on Regions series, looking into the flow battery industry and policies around the globe. The analysis was developed in collaboration with the China National Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA), VSUN Energy, and Sumitomo Electric. Their expertise and insights significantly contributed to the quality of the research.

As Europe strives to accelerate its clean energy transition to meet climate goals and bolster energy security, the report highlights the essential role of energy storage in this endeavour. The Asia-Pacific region has made remarkable strides in Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES), supported by robust policy frameworks and ambitious targets. Consequently, Europe must refine its approach to prevent lagging behind.

This webinar will present key findings from the analysis of Asia-Pacific policies and feature insights from distinguished experts representing three countries: China, Japan, and Australia.
